I created this page as a way to post about projects and events I am involved with, network with like minded individuals, and ultimately provide a small seed of inspiration for others to get involved in their communities and find their own passions.
My day job is a fisheries observer and at-sea monitor for AIS Observers. They provide quality contractors to the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to go aboard commercial fishing vessels and monitor catch and by-catch.
I will soon be taking on my new role as marine biologist aboard the sailing vessel Juliet. Juliet Sailing and Diving takes passengers on week-long scuba diving adventures and it is my job to make sure everyone stays safe, has fun, and learns about the amazing marine life we encounter every day.
